Do you provide installation for your products?

Yes, we care about seeing out our projects from start to finish, hence we are more than happy to offer installation for your new door, kitchen counter, tables, vanities and more. Installation costs are usually provided with our initial quotes and depend on the size and location of the job.

Do you only use recycled timber?

No, although it is the bulk of our work, recycled timber is not the only type of timber we use. We have access to all major Australian hardwood species as well as exotic species, via our reputable suppliers Bayswood, and also Mathews. These include species such as Ironbark, Blackwood, Blackbutt, Ash, American Oak, Walnut and more.

Do you come out to check measurements?

Our Schedule is packed and we prefer receiving detailed plans from your builder/ cabinet maker to work from, however if this is not possible, we can schedule a visit to site in order to obtain the desired measurements and to discuss any further details. These appointments usually cost $150 within Metropolitan Melbourne.

What sealant do you use?

This depends on the timber used as well as our client’s directions. But for the most part, we rely heavily on FIDDES Hardwax oil to ensure that our products are safe to use and adequately protected, while maintaining a tactile and natural feel/look. Some of our other methods including burnishing oil, Raw Tung oil, linseed oil and beeswax.
